Bedford and the

River Great Ouse

At 143 miles long, The River Great Ouse is the fourth-longest river in the UK.  It passes through Bedford and is a major feature of the town. This is a selection of images from a project which started in Autumn 2011. I have focussed on the area from Queen's Park on the western edge of the town to Priory Marina to the east. I have used a Noblex panoramic camera which uses 35mm film. 

This work was exhibited at Animal Gallery, Bedford in 2015. Thirty of these images are now on permanent display in the Swannery restaurant in Bedford Hospital.
